The Parish Charter
The Parish Charter sets up how we work together for the benefit of local people in North Yorkshire.
The Charter is reviewed annually with representatives from the Parish Sector.

As a Devolution and Community Rights Officer, I take great interest in processing nominations for Assets of Community Value. With a background in designing digital services, I am dedicated to utilising data to develop user-friendly council services.

Day-to-day, my work involves providing advice and guidance related to North Yorkshire Council’s Register of Assets of Community Value and supporting local devolution projects. I am committed to developing and raising awareness of community rights policy and practice both within and outside the organisation. With a background in local government governance and scrutiny, I am passionate about local accountability and leveraging democratic methods to harness the potential of people, data, and technology.
